Untuk pengetahuan anda semua,kumpulan Dikir Barat (Endang), akan mengadakan pertandingan Piala Buluh Perindu di Bishan CC pada 1 March ini.Antara 23 kumpulan yang akan bertanding, kami adalah kumpulan yg ketiga untuk membuat persembahan.Dgn itu, saya harap anda semua dapat memberikan sokongan dengan membeli tiket yang berharga $10 melalui saya.Sekiranya anda mempunyai sebarang persoalan, anda boleh menghantarnya melalui e-mail saya. Pesta Pantun 2009 is up...
Basically, the ones who will be involved are Hilmi, Fitria, Mira and Nada..:)Yes, this Saturday, 21st February, is the preliminary round. They will be competing with Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah and also Tampines Junior College... So, which them luck yea! Insyallah.. If last year, the peeps from Pentas Karyawan had CINTA (love) as their theme, this year they will be taking on KESENGSARAAN (suffering) for our theme.. Though time is really short (they have only one week to prepare for the theme), they really try to make use of every time that they had..Sampai pergi East Coast buat pantun... Sempat eh... Hehe.. Winks winks..So yea, they do really need the support from us... Kalau free, sudi-sudi lah hadirkan diri yeee.. Heh..

Endang, RP Dikir Barat team is under the care of Hairil Annuar, an experienced Dikir Barat-ist. He, together with Zulfadhli and Muhammad Nafis, has been with Endang since the very beginning. The 3 of them have been guiding Endang with determination,perseverance and vision. They aim to bring them to a greater height in Dikir Barat and bringing them out of their comfort zone. Coming from Cucu Datuk Merah, which was a champion group during the Piala Senandung Rakyat V organised by Andika Kencana and Yio Chu Kang CC, they are deemed as one of the best groups in Singapore. They also manage to win the title of “Potential Lyrics”during KGMS competition organizes by Malay Teachers’ Association Singapore. Hairil, not only is he capable of playing different positions, he is also able of writing songs, lyrics, choreographing and also percussion. With his experience, Endang will move forward to the future, with good vision and also greater achievements.

Mr. Ismail Ishak and wife Mdm Salmah from Silat Seni Gayong Pasak Singapura, we now have talented and potential silat exponents in the silat arena. Mr. Ismail Ishak is a 5 don black belt master and has been around in the Silat world for almost 30 years. He is graded a Class 1 World international wasit and jury and has been representing Singapore for various international duties in the Silat competition and was named top 3 international wasit jury.

Fathurrahman Said has been coaching Dharma.Repfuse since 2004.He began his basic Malay traditional dance training at People’s Association and Sriwana under the coaching of Mr Osman A.Hamid in 1985 and was actively involved in the Singapore Arts Festival, in core and fringe performances. With his own effort and realization, he went to Solo to broaden his knowledge of dance and movement and has infused it in his dance items. Under the wings of Mr Fathurrahman Said, Dharma Repfus3 has evolved into becoming one of the more recognised award-winning school in the Malay Dance Scene.
