Salam~
Hey all! Hope everyone’s doing fine there~ Hmmm.. This week’s probably have seen all our Sub-IGs having their meeting with the Year 0nes for the 1st time yeh? Waaah best! So how did each go? Must be real nice I suppose.. =)
Meanwhile, Nadi Sastera just had ours yesterday too. Whoa, sure was a fun one to begin with! *happy2* Had some ice-breaking sessions rolling, one by one introducing themselves in a big merry-go-round (‘cos it went in circles & was much
meriah with laughter cracking here and there~ asyik usik mengusik je :P ) A detailed briefing about the group by Huda afterwards.. And then it’s finally announced that we’ll be known as
Pentas Karyawan starting that day. Fuh.. Sure gonna be packed with the activities all lined up *yayness* ^_^
Ahh. Then came the classic match that we’ve never missed out doing since our first run last year…
The Pyramid Game! And, as usual,
pecah perut moments seemed to be a must everytime the guessing began.. hehe!

After meeting, paths separated while some decided to stay back for a little while longer.. ah yes, the PPP team that is. (: Our own talented Drama Gang wheee!~ Name given for the project we’re gonna have this upcoming July.. specifically from the 19th to 21st, taking place at the Arts House where we’ll be staging a special production for
Pesta Peti Putih, or the White Box Festival by Teater Ekamatra!
Waduh.. quite a big challenge juga nih. Preparation & scriptwriting already on its way… And the members do seem to enjoy a lot of fun from the directing and acting workshops @
TAPAC (Telok Ayer Performing Arts Centre) over a few weekends. Sani Hussein taught you guys once time tu?? Wah sehhh.. Lucky2~ =D

Endang, RP Dikir Barat team is under the care of Hairil Annuar, an experienced Dikir Barat-ist. He, together with Zulfadhli and Muhammad Nafis, has been with Endang since the very beginning. The 3 of them have been guiding Endang with determination,perseverance and vision. They aim to bring them to a greater height in Dikir Barat and bringing them out of their comfort zone. Coming from Cucu Datuk Merah, which was a champion group during the Piala Senandung Rakyat V organised by Andika Kencana and Yio Chu Kang CC, they are deemed as one of the best groups in Singapore. They also manage to win the title of “Potential Lyrics”during KGMS competition organizes by Malay Teachers’ Association Singapore. Hairil, not only is he capable of playing different positions, he is also able of writing songs, lyrics, choreographing and also percussion. With his experience, Endang will move forward to the future, with good vision and also greater achievements.

Mr. Ismail Ishak and wife Mdm Salmah from Silat Seni Gayong Pasak Singapura, we now have talented and potential silat exponents in the silat arena. Mr. Ismail Ishak is a 5 don black belt master and has been around in the Silat world for almost 30 years. He is graded a Class 1 World international wasit and jury and has been representing Singapore for various international duties in the Silat competition and was named top 3 international wasit jury.

Fathurrahman Said has been coaching Dharma.Repfuse since 2004.He began his basic Malay traditional dance training at People’s Association and Sriwana under the coaching of Mr Osman A.Hamid in 1985 and was actively involved in the Singapore Arts Festival, in core and fringe performances.
